WHY GENEROSITY IS IMPORTANT
WHY WE WANT TO SHARE THE LOVE
Generosity is about sharing the love; it is the heartbeat of God. When we go above and beyond our normal giving, we give God our trust, our obedience, and an opportunity to lead and grow us.
For God so loved the world that he gave. God is love and demonstrates his love through generosity. He gave his very best, his only son, when we were at our worst. God's love and God's heart are for us..
Jesus tells us there is no greater competitor for our love and our hearts than money. We give to demonstrate our devotion to and trust in God. We believe that it's impossible to outgive God, so when we trust in him with our tithes and offerings, we can have confidence that He will bless the rest. So it is our conviction as followers of Jesus that we should be the most generous people.
